Bay Area artist Sarah Applebaum creates immersive carnival-like installations out of second hand crocheted knits and throws. The juxtapositions and resulting color pallets share a similarity to the work of the Campana brothers. Who are know for creating chairs out of unusual materials such as stuffed animals or discarded felt and textiles.
