Born out of the commune-era of the late 60’s, Amon Düül, who later became Amon Düül II, are considered one of the godfathers of the German experimental rock scene referred to as Krautrock. This record, released in 1970, comes off as a primitive folk album, delivering the listener a rhythmic ride of strummy guitar, hand percussion, and the echo of a voice struggling to break through. Click and play, but make sure to sit with it… it builds nicely over about a 7 minute period.
