New York (Chinatown Newswire) — Chinatown Soccer Club midfield maestro Dan “The Iron Man” Alder successfully completed the Olympic-distance Columbia Triathlon in Maryland on Sunday.

“It was a huge event, some 2,500 people I think,” Alder said.

“It started out with 1.5k swim, followed by a 40k bike race and finished off with a 10k run. I came in about 1,150th or something. Hard, but good,” he said.

Coach Stochl was quick to congratulate the elegant English midfielder.

“This is a great achievement, I hope we see Dan go on similar runs down in Chinatown from now on,” Stochl said.
