Typographic nerds.

25 July 2008

Garrett sent me an e-mail a week ago saying that I would probably enjoy the attachment. Enclosed was a photo of his and Tim Medina’s (of Wrenchscience) matching Pinarello Prince’s. On them were matching stickers of their respective names like that you would see in the peloton: first intial, and last name. The amazing part was that they were both set in the same typeface that Pinarello uses on their frames.

Always taking it to the next level of obsession with bicycles, Garrett had redrawn the typeface and had die-cut stickers produced. I, of course, being another proud Pinarello owner wanted in on this action. I just received my stickers today in the mail, and quickly placed one on my bike.

Thanks Garrett for the stickers and being that nerdy when it comes to our bikes. The ride is ready for the journey in October!
