A little follow up to the US OPEN post I made a few days ago. Amanda put me up on this potential plan to have Flushing Meadows Park renovated. Check out the various comments from people on Curbed.com. My opinion? I think there’s a certain pensive beauty to have it just rust away into oblivion. We have more than enough beautiful parkland and fountains. But we only have one World’s Fair site that is slowing succumbing to time.
