    I’m not posting this because I love the song. Nor am I posting this because I’m a Puffy fan. I’m posting this because it’s further proof that in today’s society, there’s little need for marketing people, PR people and big budget project launches. Regardless of what you think of the song, this is a great example of individuals taking power from “the machine” and putting it in their own hands. I know it’s nothing new…indie heads have been taking advantage of the technology for years, but when you see it on the mass level like Diddy here, it’s pretty incredible. This dude used to spend millions on Hype Williams-type videos…thousands on street team kids…multi page ad campaigns…but now; it’s free and it takes 4 minutes to make. That’s pretty amazing. Maybe it IS the economy. Poor guy is flying commercial now.
