The Car Launch series / pt.2: Infiniti in Europe

I attended the official press launch of the Infiniti brand in Europe, held near Marseille in France. Organized by Wayne Bruce (formerly at sister company Nissan) who’s renowned for his original and laid-back press trips, this short journey lived up to its high expectations.

We stayed at the fantastic Couvent Des Minimes:

But the highlight of my stay had to be the discovery of the “around view monitor”, basically a system that helps you park with 4 wide angle cameras transmitting the view from all four sides of the car to the dashboard. You “see” your car from above, and never have to worry about bad parking again. This gave me a lot of ideas…
