Why do people create art? Self-expression…Awareness to a particular belief…That trip to Las Vegas…wait, hold up…WHAT? Well yeah, for the most part, people create to potentially make a living so that they can get the things they want. Christine and Justin of WANTS FOR SALE make no pretension about what they want. In fact, they want you to buy it for them!

Say they want to go shopping in Soho. Well then you can spend $300 on this painting to allow them the luxury to do this.

Say they want some Mets tickets. For $597.50 (2 tickets), you can pay for that as well and get this in return. (This one has sold by the way.)

Crazy you say? Well they’ve already successfully sold a trip to Vegas for two, aspirin, a new bikini, aviator sunglasses, dinner at Nobu and lots of other things. This is one of those “Damn, that’s a smart ass idea” ideas. It’s clever, funny and benefits both the artist and seller. It also makes no bullshit pretension about art.

The artist couple has also recently started NEEDS FOR SALE. Same concept, but everything goes a particular charity. The good news is that everything they’ve made for this section has completely sold out.
