Knock Off

The knock off is an age old tradition. From whisky to Gucci to Eames, Evolved design has always been on the attack. New York used to have a raw version of Canal street.

Franchise emulation

Many times coming from the same factories running after hours

Easy target

Looks good if you squint

All this strikes a nerve when a company uses your cities image to sell it’s bootlegs. Soma could be a cool brand, but the fact they rip off MKS RX-1 and call it the hellyer pedal is a bummer.

How about a fake flight?

It’s promax, not somax

Or a Ta Bo? Come on!? Is that what the factory worker called it? It’s as insulting as your tribal logo. Support the original if you can afford to. As for soma, please use your SF roots for good, not evil.
