Neitz’s Discipline Questioned

New York (Chinatown Newswire) — Coach Stochl has criticized the late-night drinking that ended in midfield enforcer Dom “The Dominator” Neitz missing the Chinatown Soccer Club’s traditional weekend training session yesterday.
“It is out of character for Dom [Neitz], who is a terrific person in my opinion, but it happens when players go out drinking. We have to look at that and the club will now carefully consider what action needs to be taken,” Stochl said.
Neitz, who was voted the CSC’s most improved player last season and recently had a sandwich named after him at a local cafe is said to be struggling with the temptations that sudden fame has heaped upon him, sources close to the player confirmed.
The midfielder has since reportedly apologized to Stochl, describing the incident as “a night out with friends” which “went too far.”

Neitz posed with his award as the club’s most improved player back in January.
