Ace Hotel Palm Springs Movie Nights – Start July 18th

This summer, Ace and IFC Films are launching a series of monthly collaborative movie nights
at Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs. It starts Saturday, July 18, 2009, at 7pm. We’ll have
a sneak preview screening of IFC Film’s In The Loop, a biting and hilarious satire of U.S. and
British politics, directed by Armando Iannucci and starring James Gandolfini and Mimi Kennedy.
The film opens in theaters July 24 and On Demand July 22. Then in August we’ll start doing it on
Thursdays, with IFC Films features once a month and other movies the rest of the time. Additional
films in the series will be announced soon.

For refreshments, we’ll have a cash bar with homemade margaritas, rum punch, mojitos, and
sangria. There will also be BBQ salmon and carnitas sliders, jicama salad, brownies, popcorn, and
movie theater candy.
