AMIGO ROOM
Kick things off Friday night, July 3, in the Amigo Room bar, where Nitedog and Lovefingers
(Blackdisco NY & LA) will play their cosmic rock disco.

POOLSIDE
Wake up July 4th, grab the best cup of coffee in Palm Springs and a hearty breakfast at Kings
Highway, then come relax and enjoy daytime music, drinks and poolside spa treatments at the
Commune Pool. Nitedog, Lovefingers, and other special guests will spin balearic disco, funk, soul,
dub and sunny daytime jams all day and deep into the night celebrating Independence Day.

SNEAKER RELEASE PARTY AND ACE BOUTIQUE
July 4th will also be the launch of the Ace x Arkitip x Generic Surplus shoe & tote. This exclusive
collaboration will be available in the Ace boutique next to the main pool. The boutique will be
curated by Arkitip and Generic, and a limited number of shoes will be available for purchase in
both women’s and men’s sizes. Get them while they last.

UPRIGHT CABARET
On Saturday, July 4 at 8pm, Upright Cabaret (www.uprightcabaret.com), L.A.’s premier theatrical
showcase featuring Broadway stars, T.V. stars and up-and-coming locals from Los Angeles presents
“Upright Cabaret’s Tribute to Americana” which will weave a tapestry of American song with great
stories and classics that you know and love! Scheduled performances by Broadway’s original diva
Jennifer Leigh Warren (Broadway: Little Shop of Horrors, Big River, Marie Christine) and a stellar
cast lead by Upright Cabaret Music Director Chris Bratten. Under the stars for One Night Only at
The Ace Hotel in Palm Springs.

SUNDAYS AT THE SHORT BUS
On Sunday, July 5, we’ll have a special edition of our weekly poolside shows, Sundays at the Short
Bus, with guest DJ Victor Rodriguez. An influential promoter, Victor assisted in building the L.A.
club scene in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s through his association with legendary clubs White
Chocolate, Plastic Passion, and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Currently he presides over the decks at Beige,
which has drawn a crowd every Tuesday for 11 years. And with DJ Chris Bowen, he has established
a re-birth of the downtown club culture with their party Shits&Giggles.
