Holy Ghost! Holy Shit!

I realize I never posted the great new video from DFA act Holy Ghost! (exclamation point is part of the name).  We did a deal with Green Label Sound (aka the Pepsi Corporation) to help fund a new single/remixes and a great video. The very talented people at Cornerstone, who also own the Fader magazine, helped market and promote the project.  A new business model maybe? I don’t know anymore these days, whatever works I suppose. I am willing to try anything once. Except Diet Pepsi with Lime flavor. No way.

Download the entire single for free HERE. There are amazing remixes by Classixx and Ed Banger’s DJ Mehdi. We have a brand new remix, still unreleased,  by Cozmo D of legendary hip hop group Newcleus.

The video is essentially a shot for shot remake of “Confusion” by New Order, and we even got Arthur Baker to play himself. Guy hasn’t aged a bit. The video was shot in the DFA studios and that is the very talented Eric Broucek next to Arthur Baker. The club scenes were shot at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC and Coco 66 in Brooklyn.
