My friend Stefano gave me a treasure from his personal collection for the holidays. A supplement to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ which covers a huge portion of the cycling events in Europe. This issue from September 1951 has quite a few articles on the Derby track races and a bit of info on Swiss cycling hero (besides Cancellara) Ferdinand Kübler. Its an amazing old paper covering what was an amazing period in cycling and tough as hell.
All we need is two wheels, no brakes, and a passion for all things cycling. This group, hailing from San Francisco, is a diverse group of creatives that quickly set the bar for track bike riding with their film MASH.
