Snowball
Reported by Chinatown Soccer Club, 26 January 2011, 15:02 PMNew York (Chinatown Newswire) — The Chinatown Soccer Club followed up yesterday’s snowy training session with an hourlong practice match in even more adverse conditions this morning, the Newswire has learned.
Much to the delight of many supporters, defender Ben “The Tractor” Pier redeemed himself by returning to the Stanton Street ground after failing to show up yesterday.
“As stated yesterday, Ben’s [Pier] commitment to the club cannot be in doubt and we refuse to comment on any rumors alleging the contrary,” a club spokesperson said.

Pier wasn’t afraid to ride his bike into the city from his home in Greenpoint.

Peter Rentz and Mike Ming also opted for a sketchy commute with the help of their trusty metal steeds.

After an epic game yesterday the CSC enjoyed a true classic this morning.
Alex Klein finished up a sweeping move despite some earlier good work for the opposing team by Mike Sisk.
