We are proud to announce we have again curated a series of original silk screen prints by artist Aaron De La Cruz for the rooms at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs, California.

Inspired by Aaron’s emotional experiences during travel, two unique designs will hang in the guest rooms at Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs. Fifty prints of each design will be hand signed and numbered by the artist.

“We discovered the cryptic, maze-like work of Aaron De La Cruz in the pages of Arkitip, and knew we had to find him. Our friends at Arkitip asked him if he’d work with us at Ace Hotel & Swim Club, and he jumped on board.” – Ace Hotel.

“I was invited by Arkitip to work up a set of designs that would be turned into silk screen prints installed in the rooms of the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs. Having worked with Arkitip before on various projects I was excited to have my work presented in an elevated environment that is outside of the gallery. For these works, I was imagining a range of emotions that I typically experience when I travel; from serenity to sometimes complete agitation. Both pieces represent this range. I feel that these two designs work really well as a body of work next to each other.” – Aaron De La Cruz

“Having conceived and launched the idea of fine art prints in rooms with the Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs in 2008, we were happy to return as curator and continue our goal to make original art affordable and accessible.” – Scott A. Sant’ Angelo, Arkitip Founder & Curator.

The series of prints Curated by Arkitip are installed in the rooms at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs and available for purchase now.
