JJJJound wasn’t thought out at all, the whole fiasco turned out to be a good old happy accident. The typeface I used was Georgia from the list of 5 available in blogspot and the name was basically a joke. For the design of the site, I wanted it to be as user-friendly as possible: I made all the text (titles, dates, etc) white and posted as many photos on the first page as possible.

I never really fancied the original “logo”, but once the site became popular I felt it was too late for a drastic change. A couple years ago we slightly re-branded and told no one. The person who helped me re-brand is Dylan Adair a tasteful & knowledgable graphic designer living in Montreal. I think we managed to pull off a discreet change that no one noticed…

Actually the people who supported and bought tote bags with the original typeface probably noticed it.
