Studio

I met with a contractor today to go over the renovation of this three car garage, which will serve as my studio.
It will be left as original as possible.  Clean and industrial with good lighting is all I need.  The salvaged glass-paned garage doors will be nice for summer BBQ’s.  There’s a great view of the city and a private parking spot for Donna (All vehicles need names).

California or Bust

I moved to LA on Monday.  Blazed through two snowstorms in a Eurovan.  Stereo maxed out, singing like a madman.
Arrived before the movers.

My office for the next two days.

Matt Hensley

Patrick O’Dell and Aaron Meza have created a Matt Hensley tribute video featuring different skaters reenacting some of Hensley’s lines and tricks from the original H-Street videos.  Everybody gets into it, down to the spots, clothes, facial expressions, and wallet chains.  The song A Lot Less, by The Historics, is a cover of the one that Matt Hensley skated to in 1989’s Hocus Pocus (originally by Sub Society).  Alex Olson, Andrew Allen, Heath Kirchart, John Rattray and more pay tribute.
