Fashion weak

Hello again. It’s been a while since we last put anything up on the Intel, but I guess we’ve been busy with other things. Personally I spent most of December eating and drinking.

So last week Karl and I went to fashion weeks in Paris and Berlin respectively.
BBB was crazy as always. Funny how tens of thousands of people will gather for these things and tell each other how much they don’t like being there. However, although trade shows by definition are uninteresting, it was good to catch up with old friends and meet a few new people as well. Incl. James.

And that Tempelhof Airport is just incredible.

While in Berlin I stayed with Jon, who has these beautiful vintage hand stitched pillow cases hanging on his wall:

Oh and I finally got a chance to experience the infamous Panorama Bar. Hard to explain, but also crazy. In a very positive way.

And so now I’m back in a snow covered Copenhagen making my 2-year old daughter do drawings on my phone.

By the way I recently read this interesting interview with Eno in The Guardian.

Eno on the decline of record sales: “It was a bit like if you had a source of whale blubber in the 1840s and it could be used as fuel. Before gas came along, if you traded in whale blubber, you were the richest man on Earth. Then gas came along and you’d be stuck with your whale blubber. Sorry mate – history’s moving along. Recorded music equals whale blubber.”
